The Medical Coding Preparatory® is the registered brand name of the eBook series written by Meyer & Meyer, and is used for the purposes of sharing the training series and professional consulting services provided through this website. The entity/owners are a private sole proprietorship, dedicated to the quality of Health Administrative Data, which encompasses public health morbidity and mortality reporting and other descriptive epidemiology analyses and reporting, as well as, private health medical billing, coding and auditing training. We strive to assist and train health professionals in learning medical coding, analyses and auditing for a variety of career endeavors, which may include passing medical coding, auditing and other certification exams. We do not award college credits. We do provide a certificate of completion when requested.

1. Micro-course Prep Syllabus Review
All of our micro-course certification preps are delivered electronically and asynchronously. Content details, including topics covered, learning objectives, and assessment formats, are fully described in each course syllabus. You are responsible for reviewing the syllabus in its entirety before enrolling to ensure the course meets your needs and expectations (EDUCAUSE, 2024)

Payment, No-Refund Policy, and Cancellation No Refunds: Once the prep materials are delivered and accessed to the user; Because our offerings are digital, self-paced, and immediately accessible upon purchase, all sales are final. We do not provide partial or full refunds under any circumstances (Federal Trade Commission, n.d.-a) Cancellation: You may cancel your enrollment at any time, but you will not receive a refund or credit. If you wish to cease access, please discontinue logging in; course access will remain open but unused. Disclosure Requirement: Our “no-refund” policy is prominently displayed on each course page and reiterated during the checkout process, in compliance with FTC guidelines for clear and conspicuous consumer disclosures (Federal Trade Commission, 2024)
3. No Guarantee of Certification Success While our historical pass rates are in the 90th percentile, we cannot and do not guarantee that any individual will pass a certification exam. Success depends on your prior education, experience, study habits, and commitment. You are encouraged to supplement our materials with additional study, practice exams, or mentorship as needed.
4. Intellectual Property and User Conduct Content Ownership: All course materials—including videos, eBooks, exercises, assessments, and AI-augmented tools—are the exclusive property of Medical Coding Preparatory and its licensors. You may download materials for personal study only; reproduction, distribution, or resale is strictly prohibited. Academic Integrity: You agree to use our materials ethically. Unauthorized sharing of login credentials or content constitutes a breach of this policy and may result in termination of access without refund.
5. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, Medical Coding Preparatory disclaims all liability for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of our courses, materials, or website—even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
