A New Way to Work

Learning through short micro-courses and earning small certificates—called micro-credentials—is a smart way to get started in the healthcare field, move up in your career, or find a job that lets you work from home. Our programs are divided into three levels. Tier I teaches the basics of medical coding for doctor’s offices and clinics. Tier II builds on that by training you to code for hospitals. Tier III includes advanced training to become a medical auditor, data analyst, health informatics expert, or project manager for healthcare computer systems. Each level helps you prepare for important certifications from groups like AAPC and AHIMA, which can help you get hired or promoted. These courses are self-paced and affordable, so you can learn on your own time and build your skills one step at a time—a method called “stacking.” Many of the jobs these programs prepare you for, like coding or data work, can be done from home. Whether you are new to healthcare or want to take your career to the next level, these micro-courses give you a flexible and clear path to success.
